Controversial Australian influencer Veruca Salt has announced that she is expecting another child two years after the sudden death of her baby boy.
The social media star, who shocked her two million followers by marrying a man she’d only known for two weeks last year, announced the news on her TikTok on Wednesday morning.
Salt, whose real name is Kimberley Summer Hartley, shared a video talking about her estranged husband, known by his social media handle digiipremium, and his new romance.
She told fans she felt sorry for the woman, and while she was concerned that he could “baby mama” her, she was just grateful he hadn’t done the same to her.
“At least he didn’t baby mama me… somebody else did though,” she said, confirming that the baby was someone else’s.
“There’s a baby in there,” she said, placing her hand on her belly and looking down. “Surprise!”
Her followers rushed to the comments to share their shock over the way Salt dropped the massive news.
“I feel like I’ve only just been gone for a WEEK & I’ve missed a whole CHAPTER,” remarked one stunned follower.
“GirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrL I wasn’t expecting that ending. Congratulations girl,” commented another.
A third fan replied: “Wait wait wait… a baby??? Congratulations???”
In a follow-up video, Salt confirmed she was pregnant by recording a video of herself doing a pregnancy test an getting a positive result.
She flashed a shocked expression at the camera, because laughing and telling followers she had “known for ages”.
Salt stunned fans last year when she tied the knot just two weeks after meeting her former partner.
She confirmed their wedding in November by posting pictures wearing a white gown after exchanging vows at the infamous The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
However, she then dramatically ended her whirlwind marriage with an explosive public statement.
Later, she elaborated on the situation in a separate post.
“I really hope this doesn’t get messy with back and forth posting about each other,” Hartley said.
“ … The things that have happen [sic] over the past 2 and a half months have been a whirlwind and have definitely changed me in ways I didn’t know possible.”
She added: “I hope [you] can forgive me for being a stupid idiot as I have been many times in the past.”
