Guests were treated to an out-of-this-world experience at Event Cinemas Innaloo for a special advance screening of Project Hail Mary in the venue’s new, state of the art IMAX cinema.
After posing for photos on two media walls, the attendees were some of the first to step into the newly unveiled IMAX cinema, which features superior 4K laser projection for brighter, clearer images, and a powerful multi-channel sound system for precise audio.
The film stars Ryan Gosling as a solo astronaut trying to save the world from mysterious substance that’s causing the sun to die and has been one of the most anticipated movies of 2026.
Following its release, it earned a record score from Rotten Tomatoes (96 per cent) making it the highest-scoring release of 2026 so far and Gosling’s highest Rotten Tomatoes-scored movie of all time.
Project Hail Mary is in cinemas Thursday, March 19.
