As always, Marcus Bontempelli leads by example forr the Bulldogs.
After Sam Darcy found Aaron Naughton, the ball made its way towards the qoal square, where Bontempelli was positioned.
Bontempelli outmuscled Finn Callaghan to mark and then slot the major from in front of the sticks.

Davidson adds to goal tally
Sam Davidson is ‘Johnny on the spot’, scooping up loose possession following a marking contest inside the attacking 50.
He then snapped with his left boot for his second goal of the term.
Davidson’s effort pushes the Dogs out to a 32-point lead.

Darcy doubles up, Davidson on target
Sam Darcy has kicked his second goal of the match, stretching the Bulldogs’ lead.
From a throw-in close to goal, Darcy used his guile to gain possession and kick under pressure.
Minutes later, Sam Davidson gave the Bulldogs a third consecutive goal, setting up a 27-point buffer on the scoreboard.

Naughton replies for Bulldogs
The Bulldogs stem the Giant’s momentum in the second term, as Aaron Naughton opens his account.
Naughton got separation on the lead, allowing Rhylee West to find his teammate with relative ease.
From the set-shot, Naughton completed his assignment and the Bulldogs lead by 16 points.

Giants get their first goal
Great work from Xavier O’Halloran, who kicks the Giants’ opening major.
The Bulldogs’ Michael Sellwood turned the ball over inside his the defensive 50, with O’Halloran lurking with intent nearby.
O’Halloran pounced on the pill and kicked truly to cut the Bulldogs’ lead back to a goal.

After the Bulldogs leapt from the blocks, the Giants had the chance to reply through Jake Stringer.
But Stringer’s set-shot inside 50 went wide to the left, leaving the Giants scoreless after four minutes.
