Arizona Men’s Golf hosts the 46th annual Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate at Tucson Country Club on March 16-17th. The Wildcats have dominated their home tournament, winning it seven of the past eight years. They are taking on a deep field of 14 teams that features four teams inside the top 25 including the Cats.

Past Tournament History

The Wildcats have been dominant in the past years at the event after winning seven of the past eight years. Last year they won by one stroke after a birdie on the last hole from Filip Jakubcik. In addition, the past five years a Wildcat has claimed the individual title three times. They have 13 team victories and 12 individual titles in the 44 years of the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate which are the most by any team. 

In The Rankings

The Cats have moved to 22th in the national rankings per SCOREBOARD. They remain inside the top 25 but will look to make a jump after a great outing this week at the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate.
