Tokyo | The hottest new piece of tech taking China by storm can clear your inbox, organise meetings, book flights and even negotiate with suppliers while you sleep.
Called OpenClaw, the artificial intelligence agent installs directly on a user’s computer or phone and then combs through apps such as WeChat, Slack, WhatsApp and email to complete tasks on the user’s behalf. Ask it to research a supplier, summarise a pile of PDFs or organise a week of travel, and the software executes the steps in the background.
