Latrell Mitchell and long-term partner Brielle Mercy have revealed they will be welcoming a fourth child into the world.

The couple made the announcement via social media, sharing photos of ultrasounds and Ms Mercy’s baby bump on her Instagram page.

“Because 3 kids isn’t crazy enough,” the post caption reads.

The couple already have two daughters, Inala and Aleena, and had their first son, Kobe, in December 2023.

A wave of congratulatory messages has flown in from the NRL community following the announcement.

“A new little Rabbitoh on the way,” Mitchell’s side the South Sydney Rabbitohs posted on Instagram.

“Congratulations Latrell and Brielle.”

“Congrats guys,” St George Illawarra Dragons enforcer and former Rabbitohs teammate Hame Sele said.

Another ex-Rabbitoh Taane Milne also commented, leaving a heart eyes emoji.

Tayla Montoya, wife of Bulldogs winger Marcelo Montoya, and Courtney Cook, wife of Dragons hooker Damien Cook, also left celebratory messages on Ms Mercy’s post.

“Congratulations guys,” they both wrote in separate posts.

The announcement comes after a big week on the field for Mitchell, who played a starring role in a historic moment during the Rabbitohs’ clash with the Roosters last Friday.

It was Mitchell who stormed into open pastures off the back of a David Fifita offload, setting up Alex Johnston to break Ken Irvine’s try-scoring record.

The 28-year-old Mitchell is settling back into life in the centres after six seasons at fullback for the Bunnies.

Last season, Mitchell only managed 11 appearances for the injury-ravaged Rabbitohs, as his campaign was marred with quad, hamstring and foot issues.
