The two Darcys spent time together on the pitch, sharing stories and taking part in light-hearted training drills.
The Scotland player said: “It was a pleasure to meet my namesake.
“She’s incredibly brave and full of energy.
“Days like this remind you how powerful sport can be in bringing people together.”
The Edinburgh winger also gifted the youngster a personalised Scotland jersey.
Darcy’s mother said: “After having 10 operations over the past year and a very long time off school, this experience is one of the best and most energetic days she’s had in a long time.
“The experience and time given from Darcy to Darcy was very heartwarming and will be a memory we will all cherish forever.”
