A DATE change has belatedly been passed for the 2026 edition of the Island Magic event.

The Phillip Island fixture had become embroiled in a calendar clash following a decision to bring Supercars’ Adelaide Grand Final forward by a week to November 26-29.

Phillip Island long appeared reluctant to make a change of its own to avoid the unexpected clash – something which led to Island Magic losing the Trans Am season finale.

Although it seems no such announcements have been forthcoming via social media platforms, the Phillip Island Auto Racing Club now lists the event as being held across November 20-22.

That tallies with the dates now conveyed by Radical Cup Australia for its Phillip Island finale.

Radical Cup had previously confirmed only the first four rounds of its 2026 calendar, at The Bend Motorsport Park (May 1-3), Queensland Raceway (June 12-14), Wanneroo Raceway (July 31-August 2) and Sydney Motorsport Park (September 18-20).

Radical Cup has also today announced ex-Porsche Motorsport Australia staffer Laura Tullier as its new category manager.

Phillip Island, which has lost MotoGP beyond this year, hosted its 2026 Classic on the weekend.
