The Bukowina stage has been in this race for an eternity, but it used to be much harder than it is now. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still challenging and usually creates big gaps, but I do prefer the old route. With the Queen stage getting neutralised, this day takes on even more significance, quite a few riders need to take time before the TT on Sunday.
