Tropical Cyclone Narelle has formed in the Coral Sea off the coast of Far North Queensland, bringing with it the danger of damaging winds and heavy rain.

The Bureau of Meteorology’s forecast suggests that after crossing the Queensland coast, Cyclone Narelle will track across the Gulf of Carpentaria and into the Northern Territory.
