Does Australia need to panic about a fuel crisis due to the Iran war?

Very few things are measured in “days”. When the government announces we have 30 days of fuel reserves, it makes people think about fuel in a certain way: we will have fuel for 30 days, and then after that, boom. None. It’s no wonder there’s panic buying.

But I live in Yarraville, in Melbourne, and the Holden Dock is within walking distance from my house. Last night at around 7pm, the CL Xunyang oil tanker pulled in, straight from the refineries of Japan, to unload an enormous cargo of fuel.
