Olympic cyclist Melissa Hoskin was killed in December 2023 when she was struck by a car following an argument with her husband at their Adelaide home.
Dennis pleaded guilty in to an aggravated charge of creating likelihood of harm over the death and was handed a 17-month prison term, suspended on a two-year good-behaviour bond.
The 35-year-old was also given a five-year ban from driving.

South Australian Victims’ Rights Commissioner Sarah Quick said Dennis’ Instagram caption reflected “a profound lack of respect for Melissa and her family”.
“This is a deeply offensive comment that demonstrates a clear lack of insight into the real and lasting impact of the harm he has caused,” Quick said.
Dennis has posted twice more on his Instagram since Wednesday evening.
He shared a picture of his children with the caption: “two absolute weapons”.
The second was CCTV footage of Channel 7’s news crews asking him questions.
