LA-based Dan Cazzola to develop ESA English-language originals for the US and global markets.
Endemol Shine Australia has appointed Dan Cazzola as Senior Vice President, Development, to spearhead an expansion of English-language originals slate for the US and global markets.
Based in Los Angeles and reporting into ESA’s Creative Director Elliot Spencer, Cazzola will develop dynamic IP and drive strategic opportunities with US and international buyers.
In addition to ‘supersizing’ formats such as Married At First Sight Australia, MasterChef Australia, and LEGO Masters Australia, ESA originals have included The Summit (Nine, CBS, ITV), Love Triangle (Stan, Channel 4), Family Food Fight (Nine, ABC), and NCIS: Sydney (Paramount+, CBS),
Most recently a Development Consultant with Yes Yes Media, backed by Elisabeth Murdoch’s Sister Group, Cazzola previously served as SVP, Unscripted Development at Endemol Shine North America. He developed and sold major original series including Deal or No Deal Island and Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge (NBC), Foodtastic (Disney+), and Domino Challenge (M6, RTL). He also oversaw US adaptations of Banijay Entertainment formats such as LEGO Masters (FOX) and Would I Lie To You? (The CW).
