Iran no longer has the capacity to enrich uranium or make ballistic missiles after 20 days of US-Israeli air attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a news conference this morning.
“We are winning, and Iran is being decimated,” Mr Netanyahu said, adding that Iran’s missile and drone arsenal is being massively degraded and will be destroyed.
Mr Trump has also said the US could use “strength and power never seen or witnessed before” to blow up Iran’s largest oilfields if it continues to target US ally Qatar.
He added he “knew nothing” ahead of time of Israel’s attack on Iran’s gas facilities which Tehran then used as justification for attacking Qatar.
But some US media reports have said that not only did the US know of the impending Israeli attack, it approved.
Meanwhile, an Iranian official has accused Australia of taking members of the Iranian women’s football team “hostage”.
