The Vancouver Canucks and defenceman Victor Mancini have reached a two-year, $2 million contract extension, it was announced Friday evening.
The deal carries an average annual value of $1 million.

Mancini, 23, has appeared in 18 games so far this season at the NHL level, tallying 22 blocked shots, 22 hits and eight shots on goal while averaging 13:50 of ice time per contest. He’s also appeared in 33 AHL games this year with the Abbotsford Canucks and has four goals and eight assists.
He was acquired by the Canucks in January of 2025 from the New York Rangers as part of the multi-player deal that sent J.T. Miller to New York.
Mancini is a veteran of 49 NHL games spread out over two seasons. He has two goals and six assists for eight career points.
