The No. 36 Colorado College women’s tennis team won for the seventh time in their last eight matches Friday afternoon with a 7-0 victory over Occidental in Los Angeles, Calif.  
 
The Tigers handily won all three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead. Aspen Young and Lucia Moravek won the No. 1 match, 7-5, over Greta Nagy and Ellise Jay, then Kala Komanduri and Ally Lowe dominated the No. 2 match with a 6-1 win over Nicole Anderson and Catelyn Isman. Lindsay Popeo and Avery Hickman completed the sweep with a 6-3 decision over Macy McClellan and Lilia Tanabe at the No. 3 spot.
 
The Tigers kept the momentum through the singles matches as CC won all six in straight sets, including a 6-1, 6-1 win by Komanduri over Anderson at the No. 3 spot. Sofia Rueter won her first collegiate match, 6-0, 6-2, over Tanabe at No. 6.
 
The Tigers improved to 9-3 and wrap up their spring break trip on Saturday, March 21, against Chapman University in Orange, Calif., beginning at 10 a.m. (PT).
