A teenage boy has been charged after he allegedly assaulted 14 women while they were exercising in Perth’s northern suburbs.

Police allege the 14-year-old indecently assaulted the women while they were out walking or jogging at Lake Goollelal and Shepherds Bush Reserve in Kingsley, and along Hepburn Avenue in Hillarys.

He was allegedly riding an e-bicycle at the time of the incidents, which occurred over a two-week period between February 28 and March 15.

In a statement, police said the investigation was ongoing, as they increased patrols of the area.

“Detectives continue to actively review information and conduct further inquiries to ensure all incidents are fully investigated,” the statement said.

“Police acknowledge the concern these incidents may have caused in the community and reassure residents that additional patrols and investigative resources have been deployed in the affected areas.”

The 14-year-old, from Darch, has been charged with a string of alleged offences, including 14 counts of indecent assault and driving an unlicensed vehicle on a road.

He is due to face Joondalup Children’s Court on April 14.
