JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The Winona State tennis team lost a close match 4-3 to the Umary Marauders today.

The Warriors didn’t pick up the doubles point going 1-2 against the Marauders. The Warriors picked up the lone win at the No. 3 doubles spot, when a team of Nikita Agrawal and Debbie Ogdahl won 7-5.

The Warriors went 3-3 on the singles side, with wins coming from Lainy Ristau, Izabel Barr, and Ogdahl. Ristau won at the No. 1 singles spot after starting down with a 1-6 loss in set one, going on to win 7-5 in set two, and 6-4 in set three. Barr won at the No. 3 singles 7-6 and 6-3. Ogdahl stacked another victory at the No. 6 singles 6-2 and 6-3.

The Warriors will be back Saturday, March 28th at 4:00pm against the Bemidji State Beavers.
