Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs was fined $25,000 for throwing ​his mouthpiece toward ‌the stands during a game this week, the NBA announced on ‌Saturday.

The ​incident ⁠occurred with 5:35 ⁠remaining in the first quarter of Thursday’s 130-111 home loss ​against the Charlotte Hornets. Suggs receiving ⁠a technical ⁠foul at the ​time.

Suggs finished the game ​with nine points on ‌4-of-12 shooting in 22 minutes.

In 46 games (45 starts) for ⁠Orlando this season, Suggs has averaged 13.8 points with ⁠5.2 ‌assists. During ⁠five career NBA ​seasons, ‌all with the ​Magic, ⁠the 24-year-old has averaged 12.6 points with 3.7 assists in 257 games (219 starts).
