Everything may have been “hunky dory” in Bec‘s eyes as she professed her love and became Danny‘s girlfriend ahead of Sunday’s MAFS Commitment Ceremony.
But when it was time for Danny to open up and reveal his true feelings towards Bec, Danny squirmed his way through a very uncomfortable couch session – which you can watch above.

Danny was tight lipped. (Nine)
The question on Bec’s lips? “Can you see yourself falling in love with me?” which Danny couldn’t answer and perhaps “misinterpreted” wrong.
“It’s a pretty black and white question,” expert John Aiken bit back.

Danny’s excuse was that he couldn’t promise it 100 per cent as he began a long-winded answer about “being a man” and sticking by his “word”.

“It was a mistake, I made a mistake, I’m only human,” said Danny as he acknowledged he answered the question badly.
John advised Danny that when it came to talking about feelings, he “choose his words carefully” and we think Bec agreed:
Sheer panic. (Nine)
So when asked why he decided to make Bec his girlfriend, if only Danny took his newfound feedback on board.
What followed was six words that left Danny scrambling for an excuse.
