Beloved NHL reporter Jessi Pierce and her three children tragically lost their lives in a house fire over the weekend.
According to FOX 9, emergency responders from the White Bear Lake Fire Department in Minnesota arrived at the scene of an intense blaze that consumed a single-family home shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. During an earlier 911 call, neighbors reported seeing flames breaking through the roof of the residence, noting that people were likely trapped inside.
Firefighters ultimately managed to extinguish the “fully involved structure fire” before discovering an adult, three children and a dog all deceased in the debris. It comes as three countries threatened to boycott the NHL World Cup if Russia was allowed to play in the tournament.
