The Sydney Swans member who hurled a Coke bottle at Nick Watson has copped a big punishment, it’s been revealed.
The fan launched the Coke bottle towards Watson and a handful of Hawthorn players following the final siren of last Thursday’s Hawks-Swans match, up the end of the ground where most Sydney supporters were sitting, after Watson booted a late goal to seal the result.

Per Tom Morris, the 43-year-old Narre Warren man was fined $407 by Victoria Police, before the AFL hit him with a five-year ban from all games.
Further, the Swans have reportedly torn up his membership, while the MCG has banned him from all events — sporting and non-sporting — at the venue for five years.
Watson’s revelation on radio the next morning prompted the AFL’s initial investigation into the matter.
“They didn’t really say much, they were just standing up and I was just that happy the game was over and we won, so I thought I’d give them a bit and say ‘go home early, beat the traffic’,” Watson said on Nova radio last Friday.
“They were throwing Coke Zero cans out there … I saw one go straight past me. I don’t know what happened to the guy.
“It just landed right next to us — lucky it didn’t hit any players but a few players saw it.
“I was giving them heaps, but I’m not sure if a Coke Zero bottle to the face in return would’ve been nice.”

A ‘coincidental’ Daicos family trip to Tasmania has already got tongues wagging.
And now a sighting of the famous Collingwood family with a Tasmanian director has only added to the speculation.
News emerged over the weekend that the Daicos family was in Tasmania during the incoming 19th club’s much-awaited VFL debut.
It comes amid ongoing links between Nick Daicos and the Devils as a potential inaugural signing for the expansion side.
“The fact that he and his family are in Tassie this weekend for a couple of cashies is just quite ridiculous timing,” AFL journalist Tom Morris reported on SEN radio.
“Pure coincidence, I’m told.”
The Daicoses also met with Devils board director Roger Curtis, who took a picture with Nick, Josh and their legendary father Peter during their time in the Apple Isle.
Curtis was a lifelong Collingwood fan before joining the Devils.
“I’m told this may have just been a coincidental meeting, they were just on their way to their next function,” Seven’s Mitch Cleary said on Sunday Footy Feast.
“But I just wonder whether he’s (Curtis) in the ear of the Daicos duo. Nick is signed until 2029, Josh until 2030.
“If they are to lure either of those guys, they’re going to have to stump up when it comes to draft picks. But they do have the money to do it.”
Tassie is set top have a $5 million sign-on bonus outside their salary cap to use over their first two seasons to attract big names.
Devils CEO Brendon Gale played down the link up between Curtis and the Daicos family over the weekend.
“That’s Roger Curtis, he’s on our board, and his house is about three down the road from that coffee shop,” Gale said.
“He coincidentally ran into the Daicoses, and he happens to be a mad Collingwood fan.
“I don’t quite know why they’re here, but let me just say this: why wouldn’t they be here? This is an incredible place, it’s 25 degrees, there’s not a cloud in the sky, there’s golf, there’s fishing, there’s food, wine — it’s an incredible place.
“Why wouldn’t they be here?”
