Married At First Sight couple Michael Brunelli and Martha Kalifatidis have announced the birth of their second child.
The pair, who are already parents to three-year-old son Lucius, shared the happy news on Instagram alongside a series of cute pictures of their new daughter.
“Our girl is here. Sunday Maria Brunelli, two weeks early and completely perfect. We are smitten,” Martha wrote.
While quite unique, their baby girl does share her name with another well-known celebrity offspring: Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s eldest child, Sunday Rose.
The couple, who met and “wed” on our screens during the 2019 season of the reality show, have been engaged since 2021.
They announced their impending arrival in a social media post last October, with Martha, 37, showing a video of their son kissing her visible bump.
“Knocked up n’ knocked out. Will be back bigger and better soon … fingers crossed!” she wrote in the caption, suggesting she may again be unwell after struggling during her first pregnancy.
It came just months after Michael, 33, shared an emotional post on social media, opening up about the struggles the pair had been facing.
“Martha carries a lot, for me, for Looch, for everyone around her. She doesn’t complain, she just keeps going even when she probably shouldn’t have to,” Michael said.
“The truth is things have been heavy lately. We’ve been juggling work, parenting, pressure like everyone else.
“Some days feel like we’re running in opposite directions. Snapping more, laughing less. So for her birthday we decided to stop, not run away, just step out of the noise.”
“We cooked, we swam, we talked about everything and nothing at all,” Brunelli said in a voiceover, which accompanied a video of the family’s holiday.
“It didn’t fix all the stress but it reminded us of what matters. We made a memory that will outlast any present. So happy birthday babe, I love you always and thank you for everything.”
Michael and Martha are among the most popular couples to emerge from the controversial dating show – and one of the few who have stayed together – earning themselves legions of fans over the years.
