Hubert Hurkacz has ended his partnership with coach Nicolas Massu. The Pole shared the news on social media Tuesday.

“I am very grateful to Nico for all the dedication, hard work and time we spent together during the most challenging times in my career,” Hurkacz wrote in an Instagram post. “We have decided to move on, and go our separate ways. Thank you again for everything!”

Hurkacz began his partnership with Massu in November 2024. In 2025, the Pole reached the last eight at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Rome and the championship match at the ATP 250 event in Geneva before shutting down the season early in July after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

Upon his return to the Tour in January, the 29-year-old defeated then-World No. 3 Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz en route to leading Poland to its United Cup title triumph.

Hurkacz currently sits at No. 75 in the PIF ATP Rankings and holds a 5-7 record on the season, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index. The former World No. 6 last competed at the Miami Open presented by Itau, where he lost to Ethan Quinn in the opening round.
