Playoff basketball is back in the Alamo City.

The San Antonio Spurs secured a spot in the 2026 NBA playoffs last week after Victor Wembanyama hit the go-ahead jumper against the Phoenix Suns. While it has been several seasons of a playoff drought, the Spurs return to the place where they’ve called home 40 of their 50 seasons since 1976 — the second-most appearances in the NBA.

Postseason games are set to begin April 18-19, following the conclusion of the regular season April 12 and the Play-In Tournament for April 14-17. Matchups for the first round, game times, and broadcast details will be announced once the playoff seeding has been finalized.

All games will be nationally televised across platforms, including ABC, ESPN, NBC, Peacock and Amazon Prime. Spurs games will also air locally on 1200 WOAI in English and KXTN 1350 in Spanish.

Fans looking to attend games at the Frost Bank Center will be able to purchase Round 1 home game tickets starting at 10 a.m. April 2 through Spurs.com. Tickets are limited to residents within 150 miles of the arena, with a maximum of four tickets per order.

If you miss out on the initial drop of tickets, you may still be able to find verified resale tickets through Spurs Ticketmaster. Prices and service fees may vary by seller.

In addition to tickets, the Spurs are rolling out playoff merchandise for fans looking to represent this new era of playoff basketball in the Alamo City.

The two “2026 NBA Playoffs” T-shirts feature bold, retro-inspired designs on black fabric, including one with a large Spurs logo surrounded by colorful geometric accents and “2026 Playoffs” text, and another with a “Go Spurs Go” slogan in white script framed by bright Fiesta-style graphics; both are priced at $39.99 and come in sizes small through 3XL.

Fans can stay updated on playoff schedules, tickets, and announcements by downloading the Spurs app, joining the team’s fan club or texting “PLAYOFFS” to 210-444-5940.
