West Point, NY – La Salle dropped a 74-63 decision at Army West Point on Wednesday night at Christl Arena, despite a strong second-half push and a career-high 24 points from Kiara Williams.

Army set the tone early, shooting efficiently and knocking down four three-pointers in the opening quarter to take a 25-13 lead. The Black Knights extended their advantage to 45-29 at halftime, despite Kiara Williams delivering a dominant performance. The redshirt freshman recorded a career-high 24 points and 11 rebounds to secure a double-double. She was a steady presence inside, leading all players in both scoring and rebounding.

Ashleigh Connor added 19 points as the team’s second-leading scorer, while contributing four steals on the defensive end. Her two-way effort helped spark La Salle’s momentum in stretches, particularly in transition.

Atlanic 10 Defensive Player of the Year, Aryss Macktoon impacted the game across the stat sheet, leading the team with three assists and five steals, ending her season with a program-record 105 takeaways, good enough for 11th in the nation. Her defensive activity played a key role in disrupting Army’s offense and fueling La Salle’s pressure.

With the loss, the Explorers’ historic 2025-26 season has come to an end.
