A few short years ago, YouTube was the outer-rim of golf. A handful of intrepid creators lived there, mining a couple thousand views at a time mostly as a hobby. But then something unexpected happened. The rapid growth of recreational golf post-pandemic, the injection of big names like Bryson DeChambeau and the growing fatigue with tour golf led golf fans to the platform in droves. Suddenly, amateurs like Grant Horvat and journeyman pros like George and Wesley Bryan were household names.
The runaway success of the Internet Invitational last summer showed the commercial potential of the medium, and now Horvat and the Bryan Bros. are taking things a step farther with the announcement of their new creator-led golf tour, Your Golf Tour (YGT).

The YGT will gather 16 of the biggest stars in YouTube golf for a four-event circuit beginning at Pursell Farms—widely regarded as the “birthplace” of YouTube golf—and culminating at Wynn Las Vegas with a three-day, $1-million-dollar stroke play championship. If that isn’t a metaphor for growth of YouTube golf, we don’t know what is.
The upstart tour will be comprised of four teams led by four captains, including Horvat, George and Wesley Bryan and a fourth skipper yet to be named. Final rosters and format details will be unveiled in the coming weeks, but one thing we know for certain is that this will not be a “one-and-done.” The league has a multi-season road map, and while some details may change, each campaign will conclude at Wynn Las Vegas for a high-stakes finale.
“Competitive golf is where we started. YouTube golf is where we’ve evolved. We believe there’s a place for both,” says Wesley Bryan of the YGT.
“Our vision is to create a structure for top players to perform under real pressure with significant stakes while remaining authentic to the YouTube format that we know and love,” adds Grant Horvat.
Those quotes will be comforting to YouTube golf fans, many of whom came to the platform seeking an antidote to the week-in, week-out monotony of pro golf. If YGT can retain the plucky, disruptor spirit of its creators while increasing the stakes and improving the production values, it might just be the “sweet spot” golf fans have been waiting for.
The collaboration between Grant Horvat, the Bryan Bros. and Wynn Golf was facilitated by Big Bird, the golf-focused creative agency helping position Wynn Golf as the digital home of golf.
