An Israeli paramedic who arrived first to the scene in Kfar Qasim described it as “chaos”.

“We arrived within minutes with intensive care units and ambulances. At the scene there was chaos. We began searching inside the house and saw destruction in the centre of the home. Five casualties who were inside were injured by the blast,” said Tomer Gussman, according to a statement released by Israel’s rescue services.

Gussman said the injured were evacuated to the hospital in mild condition.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reports Hezbollah has claimed to have hit two Israeli battle tanks with missiles near the town of Qantara in southern Lebanon’s Marjayoun district. In total, the group says it has targeted seven tanks in the area today.

There were no immediate reports of the attacks from Israel’s military.

Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry said it intercepted multiple drones over its oil-rich Eastern Province, the United Arab Emirates’ air defences also worked to intercept incoming fire, and Bahrain reported extinguishing a blaze in a neighbourhood that is home to the Bahrain International Airport.

Since the war began, more than 1500 people have been killed in Iran, its Health Ministry says. Twenty people have been killed in Israel; two Israeli soldiers have also been killed in Lebanon. At least 13 US military members have been killed.

More than a dozen civilians in the occupied West Bank and Gulf Arab states have also died.

Nearly 1100 people have died in Lebanon, authorities said. In Iraq, where Iranian-supported militant groups have entered the conflict, 80 members of the security forces have been killed.
