A 7-month-old baby has died after a rideshare vehicle crashed into a tree in Perth’s south-east overnight, leaving two other passengers seriously injured.
A silver Toyota Kluger left the carriageway of Nicholson Road in Lynwood before striking a tree about 3:40am on Saturday, WA Police said in a statement.
A 35-year-old man, who police say was driving the rideshare vehicle, suffered minor injuries.

Three passengers — a 32-year-old woman and two children, aged seven months and three years — were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The baby later died at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
