PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Women’s Golf makes its first trip to Louisiana in program history this weekend, competing in the ULM Invitational in Monroe on March 30-31.

Opponents (14-team field): Louisiana-Monroe (hosts), UAB, UT-Arlington, UT-Rio Grande Valley, Troy, Arkansas State, Little Rock, Samford, Central Arkansas, Southern Miss, East Texas A&M, Houston Christian, Stephen F. Austin, LSU (individuals only)

Play begins on the par-72 course at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30. Golfers will play 36 continuous holes of golf on the tournament’s first day. The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday, March 31.

RECAPPING THE CHRIS BANISTER CLASSIC

The Braves placed fifth at Jacksonville State’s Chris Banister Classic in Glencoe, Ala, after a strong third round saw them move up five spots on the leaderboard. Caroline McConnell registered her sixth finish in the top 20 in seven tournaments this season, placing tied for 13th at 225. Allison Pacocha finished just outside of the top 20 at 230.

TEAM NEWS & NOTES


This will be the first time in the 37-year history of Bradley Women’s Golf that the team will compete in an event in the state of Louisiana. Louisiana is the 26th different state (27th state or country) Bradley has competed in in program history.
The team’s fifth-place finish in Alabama was the fifth time this season that Bradley has finished in fifth or better as a team. 
Caroline McConnell’s four finishes in the top 10 are the most in a season by a Brave since Megan Welch recorded four in the 2021-22 season.
According to the March 25 rankings on Scoreboard, Bradley is currently ranked #147 amongst all NCAA Division I women’s golf programs. The next closest MVC program – Murray State – is ranked at #192.
