Laila Hasanovic, girlfriend of Italy’s Jannik Sinner, is cheering him on from afar during the 2026 Miami Open.
Jannik Sinner is one win away from becoming the first male tennis player since Roger Federer in 2017 to win the “Sunshine Double.”
After earning his first Indian Wells crown, Sinner looks to win the 2026 Miami Open final on March 29. To achieve this historic feat, Sinner must take down Jiri Lehecka, who’s competing for his first-ever ATP Masters 1000 trophy.
After defeating Alexander Zverev 6-3,7-6 (4) in the semifinals, Sinner, the No. 2-ranked player in the world, is highly favored to be victorious on Sunday. Sinner is 3-0 against Lehecka and has never dropped a set against the Czech player.
“Coming here and trying to produce some good tennis was my main goal, and standing here again in the final means very much to me,” Sinner said in his on-court interview. “It has been an incredible swing, and I couldn’t be better. I’m very happy.”

While the Italian star makes history, extending his record for most sets won (32) in a row in the history of Masters 1000 events, his girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic, is cheering from afar.
The 24-year-old started dating Hasanovic, a finalist in the 2019 Miss Universe Denmark pageant, last year.

While some fans in the comments section questioned why she wasn’t in Miami supporting Sinner, the model and influencer was busy with the official launch of her self-tanner line, NRD55, just before the tournament started. Neither Hasanovic nor Sinner has posted photos of each other on their social media pages, so it’s unlikely she’ll post a public message of support.
Sinner likes to keep his romantic life private. Hasanovic, who previously dated former F1 driver Mick Schumacher, respects his wishes.
The 24-year-old tennis star told Vanity Fair Italia in February 2024, “I like talking about tennis, and sports in general. But if you’re referring to my private life, it’s true, I want to keep it that way. I want to protect the people closest to me, keeping them out of all this.”

While fans were quick to link Sinner to Laila Hasanovic last year after she attended numerous of his matches, including at Wimbledon, the four-time Grand Slam champion initially shut down relationship rumors.
“There’s a lot of attention,” said Sinner during a press conference during the Italian Open in May 2025. “Also, off the court, I was surprised to see some pictures, which, nothing serious. I’m not in a relationship!”
Overall, Sinner likes to keep his private out of the spotlight. During his previous relationship with tennis pro Anna Kalinskaya, “We keep everything very confidential,” he said, per Tennis.com. “I won’t say more.”
