As far as weekends go, this could be a good one for Celtic fans if Brendan Rodgers can take all three points away from Aberdeen.
Celtic travel to Pittodrie for the first time since the Scottish Cup final defeat and fans will be itching for Rodgers to put that result right.
A win would take the Bhoys four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table from Russell Martin’s Rangers.
The Ibrox boss looked forlorn as he watched Rangers bottle it against Dundee at Ibrox and in true Chris Sutton style, the iconic former Celtic striker took another opportunity to take a poke at the Ibrox club.

Sutton took to social media to deliver his thoughts about Rangers’ draw with Dundee at Ibrox and the former Celtic striker didn’t miss.
With a simple seven-word tweet on X, Sutton said, “Good point for Rangers in the end…”

Indeed. When it looked like Rangers were about to drop all three points, the penalty spot rescued Rangers from another embarrassing home defeat.
Had Russell Martin opened his new tenure at Ibrox with another home defeat for Rangers, the knives would have been out for him, if they already aren’t.
Celtic now know that a win at Aberdeen can put significant daylight between them and Rangers with the Ibrox Glasgow Derby only two games away.
Celtic hero Chris Sutton’s best Rangers wind-ups
Sutton always likes to have a go at Celtic’s rivals whenever the opportunity arises so here are some of his best with the season only two games old.
Sutton laughed at Kris Boyd live on Sky Sports as the former Rangers man made his annual prediction that Rangers will win the title from Celtic.
🗣️ “It’s all going to change in Glasgow”
🗣️ “I think Rangers will finish in the top half”

Sutton also wound up Boyd once again when the fixtures lists were announced in the summer by reminding the former Rangers man that Celtic will be ‘strong favourites’ for the title despite having the backing of the 49ers.
The season is only two games old and Sutton is already 2-0 up on his old foes.
