AirTrunk chief executive Robin Khuda says the government should look to a subscription model for copyright laws that are a major stumbling block to investment from artificial intelligence giant Anthropic, as its chief executive Dario Amodei arrived in Canberra on Tuesday to promote the self-described ethical AI firm.

Alongside political meetings, the boss of the $US380 billion ($555 billion) behemoth is meeting executives from Australian data centre firms, including NextDC, AirTrunk and CDC Data Centres.
