Read Essendon’s latest injury update ahead of round four.

Key forward Nate Caddy will miss the round four match against the Western Bulldogs. In the round three match Caddy suffered a head knock in the fourth quarter where he was then assessed by the Club’s medical team and was cleared to play. 

Following the game, he presented with concussion symptoms and then entered the AFL concussion protocols due to the onset of delayed concussion. 

Brayden Fiorini will be assessed through the week after being a late withdrawal from last weekend’s game. 

Nick Bryan will make his return via the VFL this weekend after recovering from last year’s ACL rupture.  

Essendon will name their extended squad for the round four clash against Western Bulldogs on Thursday night.
