Dolphins: Kurt Donoghoe is pushing for his first match of the season as he completes his recovery from a hamstring injury. The hooker has been named on the six-man bench for Thursday’s match. Fullback Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has scored nine tries in five games in Redcliffe.
Sea Eagles: Forward Ethan Bullemor is in the mix to line up on Thursday after he was a late withdrawal last week due to an Achilles injury. Clayton Faulalo is set for his first appearance of the season in place of suspended winger Jason Saab. Emerging playmaker Joey Walsh won’t be thrown into the NRL at this stage with interim coach Kieran Foran saying on Wednesday that “we’re not travelling good enough to put the responsibility of turning a game around on a 19-year-old’s shoulders. That’s not doing the right thing by Joey.”

Rabbitohs: Campbell Graham is on track to make his return from a shoulder injury as South Sydney prepare to play their first game since Round 3. Moala Graham-Taufa shifts to the interchange as a result, with Wayne Bennett able to rely on stability ahead of the Rabbitohs’ Good Friday blockbuster. Brandon Smith remains at least a week away from returning from a calf injury.
Bulldogs: Skipper Stephen Crichton has been named at centre but could spend time in the halves, as he did in last week’s loss to Newcastle. Bronson Xerri has moved one step closer to his return to the fold and has been listed on the six-man bench. Josh Curran will miss the showdown at Accor Stadium but Canterbury welcome Sam Hughes (suspension) and Harry Hayes (concussion) back to the side.

Panthers: Freddy Lussick has won the race to replace suspended hooker Mitch Kenny and will start for the first time as a Panther. Utility Jack Cogger is on track to make his return from a concussion and will come off the bench on Friday night. Panthers winger Brian To’o has scored eight tries in his last eight games against the Storm while Liam Martin will play his 150th NRL match.
Storm: Jack Howarth is pushing to line up on Friday despite suffering a hip injury in last week’s loss to North Queensland. Manaia Waitere will likely come into the starting side if Howarth falls short. In positive news, Nick Meaney is back on deck from a back injury and will line up at centre in place of Moses Leo. Lazarus Vaalepu has also returned to the 19 after Tui Kamikamica suffered a medical episode on Monday.

Dragons: Former Panther David Fale comes on to the wing and is set for his Dragons debut after scoring four tries in four games in NSW Cup. Lyhkan King-Togia will step into the No.6 jersey as Kyle Flanagan recovers from a concussion suffered in last week’s loss to the Titans. Moses Suli is on track to return in the centres, while Toby Couchman is also back on deck after missing the Round 4 defeat due to concussion.
Cowboys: Centre Tom Chester is set to come straight back onto the starting side in his return from suspension, with Zac Laybutt moving to the interchange as a result. North Queensland are a settled side as they chase a seventh-straight win over the Dragons.

Titans: Moeaki Fotuaika is set to come off the bench for the second straight week as an impact player, with Josh Hannay sticking with the same 19 that got the job done against St George Illawarra last week. Centre Jojo Fifita has scored five tries in three games against the Broncos.
Broncos: Star prop Payne Haas is on track to make his return from a shoulder injury that forced him to sit out last week’s victory over the Dolphins. Teenaged-outside back Antonio Verhoeven is in the mix for an NRL debut after being named on the six-man bench as Michael Maguire is forced into a backline reshuffle. An injury to Grant Anderson has seen winger Jesse Arthars called up for his first game of the year, with Gehamat Shibasaki also handed a recall to the starting side in the centres.

Sharks: Briton Nikora is an outside chance of making an early return from a broken nose and remains in the Sharks’ extended squad. Mawene Hiroti is also in the mix to return to the side after making a successful comeback from a knee injury in reserve grade last week. The Sharks are otherwise settled as they look to build on last week’s win over Canberra.
Warriors: Englishman Morgan Gannon is also pushing to complete his comeback from a concussion and has been listed in the reserves but the Warriors are a tough squad to break into right now. The only change to the 19 from last week is the inclusion of Demitric Vaimauga after Mitch Barnett was struck down with a broken thumb.

Eels: Coach Jason Ryles has been forced to navigate another week of injuries, with young gun Joash Papalii stepping into fullback in place of Isaiah Iongi (ankle). Charlie Guymer comes on to the bench after Matt Doorey went down with an ACL injury, with Jack de Belin and fullback Apa Twidle also added to the six-man interchange.
Wests Tigers: Just one change expected for Benji Marshall’s men following a dominant victory over the Warriors. Young gun Faaletino Tavana retains his place on the wing, with Sunia Turuva to line up in the centres for the third-straight week. Bunty Afoa is the only new face on the six-man bench, with Tristan Hope reverting to the reserves.
