Australian NFL fans have been left fuming after the first round of tickets were released for the historic clash at the MCG later this year.
Los Angeles and San Francisco will square off in Melbourne on Friday, September 11 and early demand suggests they will have no trouble filling the 100,000 venue.
General public tickets aren’t on sale until next Wednesday, but MCC members and some corporate pre-sale packages were available today (Wednesday).

The queue for MCC tickets was over 80,000 before they went on sale at 10am AEDT and fans were in for a rude shock when they finally got in to buy tickets.
A reserved seat near the back of the top deck was selling for $350, while first level seats were going for over $600. And then the prime seats on level one were at the $900 mark.
These prices are on top of the annual membership fees.
Meanwhile, a series of corporate packages also went on sale that were retailing for over $2000.

Fans vented their frustrations on social media at the exorbitant prices, as well as missing out altogether due to the incredible demand and their MCC barcodes not working.
“Omg these tickets are miles more expensive than advertised by MCC,” one fan said.
“A very poor experience (again). Trying to unlock tickets and asking to check offer code (assume this was MCC barcode?) which does not work. Then try and log back in again and browsing activity on account is paused,” another member lamented.
“How could these Americans do this to us with these ticket prices,” another said.
“Haven’t paid this much for tickets since watching the Wallabies knock England out of the 2015 Rugby World Cup at Twickenham sitting behind the Royal box. Might have to sell some stonks to pay for this heist,” one fan said after securing two tickets worth $850 each.
“Went in the MCC Presale for the NFL tickets just for lols to see what the ‘actual’ prices were going to be… and yep, exorbitant… best I could see was the back row of the top deck in Q38 selling for $190… more likely to be looking at $350+ in most areas,” another said.
“Joke. Kids missed out. Was 700th in the queue. Straight in. Then every available seat I selected said no longer available. Impossible to purchase the apparently vacant seats. Now all $190 tix gone. Another woeful experience,” another said.
“Incredibly disappointing, offer codes don’t work. When you are charging 500 bucks for restricted view you would expect a smooth purchasing process,” another said.
“Doesn’t matter how many times I clicked on seats showing as available, I kept getting ‘these tickets are no longer available’. I refresh and the same seat is showing as vacant but still “not available” when I click on it. Total disaster,” another said.
“Worked fine with me. Logged in when required 73rd in queue straight in. Can’t wait. Go Niners,” a rare happy fan said.
It’s understood the NFL handled all ticketing for the event.
While fans are still expected to pack out the MCG despite the unusual Friday morning kickoff, the teams involved aren’t expressing the same excitement.
The long flight, time difference and no bye the week after the match has drawn criticism from 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan.
“I don’t see any pro (to the game),” Shanahan said earlier this week.
“It’s cool for the league to play globally. I think that’s awesome.
“But as far as the team doing it, no, there’s not much benefit to it. Sometimes it’s nice to get a bye week after but doesn’t happen in week one.”
