The Miami Dolphins finished the 2025 season with a 7-10 record, missing the playoffs due to blown leads, turnovers, and defensive meltdowns. Miami’s roster took a hit when they released Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Bradley Chubb, and eventually traded away Jaylen Waddle.
Miami replaced Tagovailoa with Malik Willis this offseason. Giving them a new quarterback for the foreseeable future.

Dolphins Draft Picks:Dolphins Positions of Need:
Miami should be ultimately focused on drafting the best player available. But when it comes to the 2026 NFL Draft, Miami’s biggest targets will be receivers, defense, and pass protection.
Key Draft Targets for Dolphins:Caleb Downs – S – Ohio State
Caleb Downs is considered by some to be the best prospect in the draft. Downs has some of the best versatility, able to disrupt the run while not making many mistakes in coverage. Although he gambles on the run, sometimes too much, he makes up for it with his disruptive play.
Downs is ranked as the ninth-best prospect by NFL Mock Draft Database, and the best safety by most. If Downs is available at 11, Miami should not hesitate to select him.
Jordyn Tyson – WR – Arizona State
Jordyn Tyson is considered to be one of the top receivers in this class. Tyson is a do-it-all receiver who can play just about anywhere. He is a smooth route runner with the ability to come down with contested catches.

Tyson is slated as a first-round prospect and the second-best receiver according to ESPN. If Miami is looking to grab a receiver early, Tyson is a great pick at 11.
Keldric Faulk – DE – Auburn
Keldric Faulk is only 20 years old, but plays way more skillfully than his experience level would suggest. Standing at 6-foot-6 and 276 pounds, Faulk has the strength to power through blockers and has a lot of moves to do so. The physicality and the upside that he has made him an interesting prospect with a really high ceiling.
Faulk is slated to be a mid- to late first-round pick in the draft. The Dolphins should consider taking a chance on his upside as the Bradley Chubb replacement.
