Heather Rae El Moussa is gearing up for a big family road trip!
The Selling Sunset alum, 38, took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 3 to document the beginning of her family’s adventure with husband Tarek El Moussa, 43, and their kids. The pair share 3-year-old son Tristan together, and Heather is also stepmom to Tarek’s older kids — daughter Taylor, 15, and son Brayden, 10 — whom he shares with ex Christina Haack.
In one clip, Heather appears to stand at the door of their sprinter van as she smiles and waves at the camera.
“Wish us luck guys,” she says. As the camera zooms out, Taylor can be seen sitting down in one of the seats closest to the door.

Over the clip, she added in white text, “Family road trip has begun,” and tagged her husband’s Instagram handle.
In the next slide, she shared a peek of the back of the van, which was stuffed with suitcases, scooters and what appeared to be a cooler.
“Over-packed?” she questioned in the caption over the photo, followed by a laughing emoji.
While Heather didn’t say where her family was off to, their trip falls ahead of the Easter holiday which they’ve previously celebrated with extended family in the past.

Last year, the couple celebrated the holiday on a blended family getaway with Tarek’s ex and their Flip Off costar, Haack, as well as Haack’s boyfriend Chris Larocca.
At the time, the HGTV star shared a number of photos from the desert vacation in an Instagram post, revealing shots of the group posing in front of the pool and riding a golf cart together.

All of the stars’ kids joined for the trip as well, including Haack’s youngest son Hudson, 6, whom she shares with her second ex-husband Ant Anstead.

“Easter in the desert with the whole crew — yes, the whole crew!!” Heather captioned her post at the time. “Feeling extra grateful for our big, blended, and chaotic family. From egg hunts to pool days, it was a full weekend that we know the kids will remember.”
Earlier this year, the group rang in the new year by enjoying another blended family vacation together in Park City, Utah.
