WA’s major port city has transformed into a stage for the Easter long weekend with the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival back for another year.

Street theatre, circus, comedy, acrobats and more stops traffic across April 3 to 6 with attendees only needing to walk around the streets of Fremantle to see internationally-acclaimed acts.

The festival spans from Fremantle Prison, through High Street and Market Street, all the way to the fishing boat harbour.

More than 160 free and family-friendly performances are bringing an electric energy to the heart of Fremantle.

One of the standouts includes acrobat Cho Kairin, who has come from China, to show off his feats of balance and strength.

The live music fans can also catch performances throughout the weekend including rock ‘n’ soul grooves from Boom! Bap! Pow! and a fusion of music, daring acrobats and laugh-out-loud comedy from Crazy Pony.

There is also continuous busking entertainment with Fremantle’s own top street performers showing what they’re best at — think fire eating, magic, dancing, and juggling.
