The San Antonio Spurs are saying “thank you” to their fans one last time before the playoffs.

The Spurs are hosting “Fan Appreciation Night” when they take on the Denver Nuggets in their final regular season game on Sunday, April 12. The day before, the team is hosting a tailgate at The Rock at La Cantera that will feature an appearance by Spurs legend Manu Ginobili.

For the game against the Nuggets, every fan at the Frost Bank Center will get a free T-shirt. Each fan will also get a scratch-off ticket for a chance at free food, drinks or merchandise as they enter the arena.

Plus, for the youngest Spurs fans, there’s an $8.49 kids meal deal that includes fruit, Uncrustables, a cookie and a drink.

Tickets for the fan event are available online, with Ticketmaster prices starting at $79.

On April 11, Spurs fans have another chance to celebrate before the playoffs. The fan appreciation tailgate runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Rock at La Cantera.

The free event includes giveaways, food and basketball activities. The star of the show is Ginobili, who will do a “chalk talk” and Q&A with Spurs play-by-play voice Jacob Tobey.

For fans looking for a mental competition, there’s also a chess tournament on two brand-new chess tables at The Rock at La Cantera. The tables match the design of chess tables the Spurs built at a court in Victor Wembanyama’s hometown in France. It’s a nod to the other game the Spurs superstar loves — Wembanyama once challenged fans to games of chess at Washington Square Park in New York.

With five games left in the regular season, the red hot Spurs are eyeing their 60th win on Saturday, and they’re guaranteed one of the top two Western Conference playoff seeds.
