The number of WA service stations with dry pumps is a grim reality for many across the state who are thinking about driving home after the Easter long weekend.

There are 24 WA service stations that do not have any petrol (counted as empty if they do not have either unleaded or premium unleaded) and 15 service stations that are without diesel (counted as empty if they do not have either diesel or brand diesel).

Costco, the bulk-buying giant famed for its cut-price fuel, is still out of unleaded petrol and branded diesel at both its Casuarina and Perth Airport locations, days after announcing it had run dry on Friday.

The list of service stations without fuel is reducing compared to earlier in the week but some regional servos — including Balingup Liquor & General Store and Hills Emporio — have been on the list of outlets that are without both petrol and diesel for most of this week.
