What looked like a breakout performance for Eric Rogers instead calls his Chargers future into question. Rogers, an undrafted rookie cornerback out of Rutgers, had a banner day in his first taste of NFL action with not one but two interceptions, the first of which he made a diving catch on then returned 43 yards for a pick-six touchdown.

But Rogers appeared to injure his lower leg late in the fourth quarter on a scary-looking collision.

It’s unclear what Rogers’ status will be going forward, but hopefully he can still compete for a spot in L.A.’s defensive backfield after a great first impression.
