For foldable phone fiends, all eyes are on the upcoming Oppo Find N6. On paper, there’s a lot to like: a big battery, a Hasselblad camera array, and a new “Zero-Feel Crease” design. As with most foldable phones, the Find N6 is on the pricier end of the scale, but there are some launch deals incoming.
Priced at $3,299 in Australia, the Oppo Find N6 firmly occupies the premium part of the market. Vodafone has one of the early standout deals, selling the Find N6 at a $500 discount when paired with a 24 or 36-month plan. The telco hasn’t specified which plans are eligible yet, so expect more details on the 16 April launch date.
As for pre-orders, JB Hi-Fi offers an incentive to trade in your old phone. On top of the existing value of the phone being traded in, the retailer will add an extra $150 towards paying off the new Oppo foldable. Plus, you’ll also get an Oppo AI Pen Kit valued at $199.
This kit includes a stylus designed specifically for the Find N6, along with a cover for the back of the phone that houses the pen. Oppo also includes the AI Pen Kit as a pre-order bonus via its online store. If you order the phone through Oppo, you also get 12 months of an Oppo Protection Plan, valued at $299.
According to Oppo, its protection plan includes one free screen replacement (including the main and external displays) if it gets damaged. Foldable phones are much more durable than they used to be, but the extra peace of mind might be handy for some.
Pre-orders for the Oppo Find N6 are open now until 15 April, ready for the phone’s launch on 16 April.
