The Block holds off The Voice challenge

It’s a decisive win for Block room reveals, but The Voice lifts on 2024 premiere.

The Block was too strong for The Voice last night, with its second room reveals in Daylesford.

The Block led entertainment at an impressive 1.41m viewers in National TV audience.

That easily upstaged The Voice premiere on 984,000, which is just above 2024’s 977,000 premiere.

MasterChef Australia was essentially a ‘filler’ episode at 553,000 then Austin at 420,000.

Later 60 Minutes on 848,000 was well ahead of a two hour INXS: Live at Wembley (404,000), and The Family Next Door (415,000).

Nine News was #1 at 1.47m with a late edition on 442,000.

Seven News was pipped at 1.42m.

ABC News scored 755,000. Compass (315,000), Miss Austen (188,000) and Tracks (58,000) followed.

10 News managed 248,000 for 10 then Watson (172,000), 10 News+ (146,000) and FBI (135,000).

SBS World News (194,000 / 108,000), The Roman Pantheon (156,000), Venice From Above (118,000) and Pompeii’s Secret Underworld (82,000).
