Jimmy Nicholson has escalated the front yard feud with his neighbour after he aired their “un-Australian” lawnmowing act on social media.
Last week, the former Bachelor star took to Instagram to point out the noticeable difference between his neighbour’s grass and his own.
He asked his followers if it was “fair play” for his neighbour to mow the grass right up to their property line and leave Nicholson’s small section of grass untouched.
“Surely this is the most un-Australian act of 2026,” the 35-year-old said in the social media post, which has since amassed over 14,000 likes.
“Our driveway neighbour has mowed to there … That is passive-aggressive mowing at its finest,” he laughed in the clip.
Now, the pilot has provided fans with an update, revealing that he has “found a solution” after receiving a lot of “conflicting responses” to his initial video.
Nicholson posted a clip of himself mowing his section of the lawn and leaving a tiny strip of grass between him and his neighbour untouched.
He then placed a makeshift cardboard sign on the patch of grass, which read: “neutral territory”, while also bordering the piece of lawn with a string barrier.

“UPDATE | neighbour mowing situation: resolved diplomatically,” he captioned the post.
Nicholson’s act left social media users divided, with some labelling it “petty” and others praising the reality star’s response as “gold”.
“Why are you being so petty? Just mow your lawn and don’t be that neighbour,” one person wrote.
Another chimed in: “You are the problem not them. Mow your own lawn.”
A third simply penned: “Childish”.
Pointing out the hostility in the comments section, one person exclaimed: “Wow, people seriously can’t take a joke can they, these comments are next level.”
“Haha this is gold and you are correct, very un Australian to not mow the extra two lines,” another added.
A third person offered: “This comment section reinforces how Australians can’t take a joke anymore.”
