ASUS has launched its latest Copilot+ PCs, the Zenbook A14 and Zenbook A16, powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X2 series chips.

The new Zenbook line-up marks ASUS’ continued push into ARM-based Windows laptops, with a focus on AI performance, battery efficiency and ultra-portable design.

Leading the range is the Zenbook A16, which ASUS describes as its fastest Snapdragon-powered laptop to date. It features the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme processor, delivering up to 80 TOPS of AI performance, alongside a 16-inch 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device supports up to 48GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, and includes Wi-Fi 7, HDMI 2.1 and dual USB4 ports. Despite its large display, it weighs around 1.2kg.

The smaller Zenbook A14 targets portability, weighing just under 1kg. It also runs on the Snapdragon X2 Elite platform and offers similar AI capabilities, with ASUS claiming up to 33 hours of battery life and fast charging that reaches 50% in 30 minutes. The A14 includes a 14-inch 2K OLED display and more modest memory and storage configurations.

Both models feature ASUS’ ‘Ceraluminum’ chassis, a proprietary material designed to combine the durability of aluminium with a ceramic-like finish.

The launch positions ASUS among the first vendors to bring Snapdragon X2-powered laptops to market, as competition in the AI PC category continues to intensify.

In the US, the Zenbook A14 starts at US$1,349.99, while the A16 is priced from US$1,699.99.

Australian pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed.
