Star vet Doctor Chris Brown has revealed a collection of pet names that he considers to be quite the cat-astrophe.

Taking to social media, the Bondi vet shared a list that is a far cry from your typical ‘Lucky’ or ‘Max’.

“Are you ready for this?” the 47-year-old begun in a video titled “the best/worst pet names in vet hospital history”.

When you see the list, you’ll understand why it was necessary for him to ask.

Dr Chris Brown reveals best/worst pet names

It’s a strong start straight out of the gate with a pet by the name of “Woodja”.

“As in Woodja stop doing that,” the vet joked.

Next up is a fish named “Swim Shady”, an obvious nod to the real Slim Shady – Eminem.

He lists off a few more that would be difficult to call out at the dog park without sounding like you’re calling for royalty, including “Elfa, as in L for Labrador”, as well as “Prince Leopold I, Prince Leopold II, and Prince Leopold III.”

Next is the trifecta of butts.

“Butthole, Butthead and Buttface,” Dr Brown shared with an impressively straight face.

Next is potentially the most creative of the bunch – a rooster by the name of “Cluck Norris” and a cat by the name of “Chairman Meow”.

Other “weird” names featured included Goji, Cacao, Chia, Coconut and Spirulina – and no, it’s not a shopping list that’s accidentally made its way into this article, just a pack of dogs.

“Basically, all the ingredients for a superfood smoothie,” the vet said.

However, the last name is perhaps the one that stuck with Dr Brown the most, with his caption jokingly admitting he had “the sedation ready” and on standby for the examination.

“Satan. Who was actually quite lovely,” he revealed.

The comment section was quick to point out its favourites from the list.

“Chairman Meow is top tier,” one person praised.

Another applauded: “Cluck Norris is a winner.”

“I heard nothing after ‘Woodja!’” a third joked.

Others chimed in with their own wild and wacky pet name encounters.

“Kendrick Galah,” one user shared as a nod to rapper Kendrick Lamar.

“I worked with a security German Shepherd called Kostya and if he came for you it really did,” another shared.

A mother added: “My son’s snake is Hiss Hemsworth.”

Last year, Dog Friendly Co revealed a list of the country’s top dog names, drawn from more than 400,000 personalised harnesses.

Luna, Frankie and Archie hit the top three spots as the most popular names for pooches living down under.

Other notable mentions include Lola, Bella and Alfie – all names we’ve likely come across in the pet world.

However, among the names were also some iconic nods to our Aussie way, including the little sausage dog named Bunnings and Bindi in a sweet nod to the Irwins.
