Coronation Street newcomer Jodie Ramsey continues to mess with the Platts next week, when she meddles in Lily’s relationship with her parents. Sniffing an opportunity to make her presence felt, Jodie makes a bold decision, only for it to badly backfire…
“If you thought Jodie couldn’t worm her way any deeper into Shona’s life, think again,” explains our Corrie spy. “She’s about to find another sneaky method of keeping her feet firmly under the table, and young Lily is her unsuspecting target…”

When Lily found Jodie’s creepy trinket box, her duplicitous step aunt had to think fast to explain herself. Faced with questions about what Lily had discovered, Jodie laughed it off and hoped she had shut down Lily’s suspicions.
The pair have built up a tentative bond after Jodie helped Lily when she was having a tough time in school. And with Lily feeling neglected due to the focus on little sister Harper’s medical issues, Jodie has tried to be there for her.
Lily feels hard done by once more when she begs her dad for a new tablet, only to be told they can’t afford it. Jodie overhears David telling Gail over the phone about the disagreement with his daughter, and she suddenly gets an idea…

“You can practically hear the cogs turning in Jodie’s twisted mind,” continues our Weatherfield insider. “Her actions have a destructive impact and start a huge row – what has Jodie done now?”
As battle lines are drawn, it remains to be seen if Jodie deliberately set out to cause more chaos. And if so, could she be making a big mistake as we build up to some dark deeds on the cobbles?
Fans haven’t forgotten that Jodie is one of five characters currently in the frame to die on the day of Carla Connor and Lisa Swain’s wedding later this month.
“Despite initial reservations, the Platts have welcomed Shona’s estranged sister Jodie Ramsey into their home,” a Corrie statement previously teased.

“But Jodie has been keeping secrets from them, and it seems she has gotten mixed up with some pretty shady characters in her past. Will trouble follow Jodie to Weatherfield, or could she upset people closer to home with her behaviour?”
Carl Webster, Maggie Driscoll, Megan Walsh and Theo Silverton are the other four characters in the mix – and speculation is growing ahead of the big wedding day on 23 April.
