Johnston makes a break down the left off a Mitchell pass, he just gets dragged down, the Rabbitohs spread it across, good tackle from Kris on Wighton, last tackle Mitchell kicks across for Johnston and HE OUTJUMPS STUART…….but then he LOSES THE BALL OVER THE SIDELINE!
Game over. Raiders win. Oh my God.

Mithcell floats one over for Johnston who’s in space but the refs call it forward!
It was too, touch judge was right in line. Canberra ball. Souths should get one more set.

Three tackles after the restart a very simple shift right from the Rabbitohs puts Graham into the clear, he has Wighton backing up and the former Raider goes over.
Three minutes left and once Mitchell converts, which he does, the two point field goal is in play and we know Mitchell can kick them.
36-34 Raiders.

A nice cut out ball from Walker and a tip from Duncan puts Johnston away down the sideline, Weekes has a shot at him but Johnston gets into the corner!
Could a big finish be on the cards in the west? Mitchell nails the kick and it’s 36-28 Raiders.

After a strong carry from Sasagi and a quick play the ball Strange takes on the defence, puts a great step on to get outside of Murray and puts Young into space before backing up to score under the posts!
Another really nice try from the Raiders and once Sanders converts they’re up 14 with not long left. Everyone in Green is still very nervous, I can assure you…..

70′ Teams trade errors as fatigue mounts
Another Tamale error – that’s four now – and Souths have a chance at points. But Koloamatangi gives it back a tackle later.
Looks like a hot one in Perth, lot of tired bodies out there.

After Stuart fields a kick a metre out from his line Weekes hits it up and splits two defenders and rounds a third, he heads wide, nearly loses the ball then slashes past Wighton and he is gone!
That’s tryline to tryline from the Canberra fullback, what an incredible individual effort!
The Raiders really needed that one. Can it steady them? Sanders needs to nail the kick to put them up eight….and he does!
Raiders lead 30-22.

A simple drop from Tamale – he’s had an unhappy day with his hands, that’s his third error – puts the Rabbitohs on the attack in the 20.
Feels like another try is coming….and it does! Mitchell surges into the defence from a long way out and barges through five defenders to SOMEHOW put it down.
What an effort from the big fella and once he converts Canberra’s big lead is down to just two points, 24-22.

This game is back up for grabs now – Smith puts Duncan away down the sideline, he finds Johnston who has Humphries in support to score South Sydney’s second try in a matter of seconds.
Canberra haven’t come out of the sheds yet and the Rabbitohs have taken major advantage.
Mitchell converts and it’s 24-16 as quick as you like.

A Walker kick gets deflected and Souths get a fresh set in good ball and a few tackles later Walker holds up the pass, dummies and slides through to score a very soft try.

A Hosking error and an offside penalty puts the Rabbitohs on the attack. They try to sweep left but Stuart dives on a loose ball and wins possession for the Raiders.

Mitchell knocks the ball on around halfway, Tamale picks it up and races 50 metres to score!
Put down is weird, Tamale seemed to pull up close to the line and nearly gets held up by Walker but he gets it down in the end.
Snaders converts and it’s 12-4 Raiders.
