Glentoran Football Club is proud to celebrate a standout night at the 2026 NIFL Football Awards, with Pat Hoban and Joe Thomson recognised with two of the game’s top honours.
Pat Hoban was named Sports Direct Premiership Player of the Year, capping an outstanding individual campaign in Glentoran colours.
The striker also collected the PFA Northern Ireland Players’ Player of the Year award, underlining the regard in which he is held by his fellow professionals across the league.
Joe Thomson was also recognised on the night, winning the Goal of the Season, sponsored by Uhlsport UK, for his outstanding strike against Linfield on Boxing Day at the Clearer Twist National Stadium.
Cameron Palmer was also shortlisted for the Sports Direct Premiership Player of the Year following an exceptional season in midfield.
Leanne Dawson was shortlisted for the Club Employee Excellence Award, sponsored by Juice Jar, in recognition of her continued contribution and professionalism behind the scenes.
